Due Dilligence

Stewart Environmental's primary goal is to protect our clients from liability issues while ensuring the health of the impacted environment.  Our due diligence services encompass environmental site assessments (ESAs) and audits to assist clients in indentifying potential and existing environmental risks on a property. All our due diligence projects are performed according to the most current ASTM standards. 

Our vastly experienced staff who perform the ESAs are certified Registered Environmental Property Assessors. The staff has been performing ESAs since prior to establishment of the ASTM Standard and is knowledgeable of all environmental aspects of industrial, commercial, and natural areas. They are skilled at identifying potential environmental impacts. In addition to recognizing industrial environmental situations, they can assess flora, fauna, and related ecology.

If any concerns are noted, Stewart Environmental works closely with our client to develop an investigation into identified potential environmental hazards. We strive to ensure that the investigation is economical and resolves the issues identified during the initial ESA. Stewart Environmental has guided owners and prospective purchasers through the processes of evaluating contaminated sites, determining financial risk, and proceeding with appropriate management of risks, which may include performing remediation under the supervision of a regulatory agency.
